It's Compact (Read More)

The 315 is only 17" wide by 15" deep by 4.8" high. It will easily fit on a shelf above or below your TV. Everything is inside this compact cabinet - speakers, amplifier, virtual surround circuitry and powered subwoofer.

Simple Installation (Read More)

The HomeDock connects to the 315 with only one connecting cord. You can connect the 315 to a second source like a TV, computer, etc using "Input 2" on the 315. (Important note: The 315 does not have a remote control. Because its volume knob is on the back of the speaker, it should only be connected to a TV has a headphone jack -- or if its audio output jacks can be set to "variable." Check your on-screen menu options under "audio.")

The 315 uses ZVOX's proprietary PhaseCue virtual surround system to give you rich, three-dimensional sound with movies or music.

  • Amplifier: The 315 uses a 40-watt amplifier, but its external power supply is limited to 24.3 watts.
  • Inputs: Two rear "mixing" inputs (if two devices are connected and playing, you will hear both devices): stereo 3.5mm "mini jack" inputs.
  • The 315 is magnetically shielded so it can be used near a TV or monitor.
  • A subwoofer output jack on the rear allows owners to connect a separate powered subwoofer (optional).
  • Auto-on/auto-off circuit senses sound from source (TV, iPod, PC) and turns on the 315 two seconds later. Three minutes after it has received no signal, it automatically shuts the unit off.

The HomeDock lets you dock your iPod next to your 315, then view and control all your music from the palm of your hand. The HomeDock remote not only lets you control iPod playback, but also lets you see what's playing on the bright and easy-to-read remote display. The remote even works through walls and ceilings, giving you control of your HomeDock/315 system from virtually anywhere - even from the backyard!

With the HomeDock's Jukebox feature, you can easily create an on-the-fly playlist right on the remote. The HomeDock Music Remote also comes equipped with a USB port that enables you to sync your iPod with your computer and iTunes.

Although the 315 isn't compatible with all the TVs on the market today, it does make a great music system. Because the 315 doesn't have a remote control, it needs to be connected to a TV with a headphone jack or variable audio output.
